WiZ Smart Bulbs: Control the Light From Your Phone
A WiZ smart bulb screws directly into the standard socket of a SETTLE lamp and lets you control brightness and colour temperature from an app, without changing anything on the lamp itself.
How it works
WiZ bulbs connect to your home network via wifi and are controlled through the WiZ app. Our lamps use standard E27 or E14 sockets, so a compatible WiZ bulb can be fitted without tools or modifications.
What you can control
From the app, you can typically adjust:
- Brightness, from softly dimmed to full light
- Colour temperature, for example between 2200K and 2700K depending on time of day
- On/off schedules, so the lamp turns on automatically in the evening
An example from the living room
Many people set up WAVE 01 or BLOOM 01 with a schedule that dims the light to around 2200K after 8pm, and switches to a brighter, more neutral light in the morning. This requires no changes to the lamp itself, only a compatible bulb.
What to remember
Check that the bulb matches the lamp's maximum wattage rating and socket type, listed on each lamp's product page. WiZ bulbs come in both E27 and E14, so choose according to your lamp's socket.
