An independent studio in Sønderborg.
SETTLE is an independent lighting studio based in Denmark. We explore how digital production can create tactile, expressive objects for everyday interiors. Every piece is developed through repeated prototypes, tested in real rooms and produced in small quantities.

How the studio works
The studio is small. Forms are drawn digitally, printed as test pieces, then lived with for weeks before anything is offered for sale. Most versions are set aside.
We keep no large stock. Each order is produced, inspected and hand-finished before it is packed, which is slower but avoids making pieces nobody has asked for.
Everything is developed, produced and packed in Sønderborg, on the Danish-German border, where the studio has its workshop.
