About SETTLE
Where drawing, code and light meet.
SETTLE is a small independent lighting brand from Sønderborg. Our lamps begin with sketches and ideas about shape, proportion and atmosphere. We combine that visual process with digital tools built specifically to explore and refine our own forms.
From idea to form
DRAW
Forms begin with sketches - exploring silhouette, proportion and how the object should feel in a room.
EXPLORE
We use a custom-built design tool to develop those ideas through controlled variations in shape, rhythm and curvature.
MAKE
The selected forms are produced one at a time in Sønderborg, individually finished and inspected.
The tool does not design the lamp for us. It gives us a wider space to explore. The final decisions - proportion, silhouette, material and light - are still made by us.
SETTLE is created by two people in Sønderborg. One draws, shapes the lamps and leads the visual direction. The other builds the digital tools and production process that turn those ideas into physical lamps.
Custom projects
We also take on selected custom projects. We can help from the first idea and full prototype development through to production of custom lamps in small series.
